The unusual looking application pictured above is a visual formula editor called Cyc.

I wrote this tool for the purpose of exploring a mathematical consequence which arrises when a certain change is made to the epicycle and deferent systems used by Copernicus and others in attempts to solve what has historically been called "the problem of the planets".

The consequence I mention above, by the way, is a great formula for the generation of visual gibberish. I call this the visual gibberish formula, and the weird, stylistic forms it produces, the Kustudic set.

The AV Booking Module


This is pretty much what it looks like: a nifty little resource booking and tracking system which I wrote in the mid 90's.


Slot Machine


This is another piece of software from the same era as the AV Booking module. It is a graphical front end to a legacy system used for scheduling classrooms. It actually is pretty cool how this system catches and makes visible any booking conflicts present in the record set pulled from the legacy database.

This program makes it fun to for users to zoom in on the big board for details, and zoom back out for the overview.
